Incorporating simple stretches and breathing exercises before creating art to make it a more mindful experience. Each class will consist of 15 minutes of stretching & breath work for soothing our nervous system to a calm state (like Yoga Nidra before bed). Followed by 45 minutes of an art activity such as mandala drawing, painting, sculpting, or other mediums. Practicing mindfulness will help students be more present in their daily life! Parents are welcome to enroll in this soothing, creative class as well. We request that each person please bring their own yoga mat or towel.
