Open to adults & children age 10 & up. You will learn the basic crochet stitches, how to read patterns, and make a variety of projects. We will review the basic foundations: the slip knot, chain stitch, and single crochet stitch—the building blocks for all other crochet projects. How to hold your hook & yarn, check your tension, and read a simple pattern. Crochet takes practice to get the hang of, so this class is best suited for kids (or adults) who are patient & okay with making mistakes. At the end of the session, you will have a completed project, and the skills to tackle your next project!
