Heart of Art Pink Tea Recipe


  • Heart of Art Tea - 2 to 3 teaspoons

  • Water - 2 cups

  • Ice - 2 Cups

  • Salt and/or Sugar (As required)

  • Green cardamoms - 4

  • Milk - 1 cups

  • Condensed Milk - 1/4 Cup

  • A pinch of Baking Soda

  • Crushed dry fruits (Almonds and Pistachios preferably)

  • Cream (Optional)


Pour 2 cups water in a pot. Crush green cardamoms in your hand to release the seeds. Add both the seeds and shell in the water. Add Heart of Art Tea leaves. Also, add baking soda. Using soda or saffron will give pink color to the tea. Let the mixture simmer and boil for about 20 minutes until the water is reduced to half. Now shock the mixture by adding ice/Ice water. into the biling tea. Stir the mixture with a tea cup aerating it at the same time. Reduce the water and repeat the process as the tea starts to turn pinkish hues. Add heated milk along with the condensed milk . Also, add sugar to taste. Let it boil again. The more you boil, the stronger the tea will get. Finally, strain and pour the tea in cups. Garnish with crushed nuts and top it with cream/whipped cream.
