Meditative Mandala Painting & Drum Circle

Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart stated:

“Typically, people gather to drum in drum "circles" with others from the surrounding community. The drum circle offers equality because there is no head or tail. It includes people of all ages. The main objective is to share rhythm and get in tune with each other and themselves. To form a group consciousness. To resonate & entertain. By entrainment, I mean that a new voice, a collective voice, emerges from the group as they drum together.”

Join us, to create beautiful Mandalas, enjoy some snacks (all are welcome to contribute) and then make some beats together. There is power, healing & laughter here in the circle!

Join us for a fun and creative art class! We will paint mandalas on canvas, beach shells, ocean stones, & more! You may try different materials and paint different mandala styles. They’re delightful ornaments and great handmade gifts for the holiday season!

Bring your drums, noise makers, and your sacred body!

Drumming awakes your Kundalini - a vital energy that keep us healthy and joyful. It is a key ingredient to receiving“life force” energy. We know when our energy flow is robust. We feel good and others notice that too. When we move our body parts, many chakra centers start opening and we feel lighter and better. In this class, you will discover which movements open which areas, and the optimal way to circulate vital energy. Hope to see many of you there.
