About The Event
Welcome to our painting class! Today’s class will focus on blending and shading to create form.
Since this class’s focus is on blending colors and shading, we do not want to spend a great deal of time drawing it out or worrying about the composition.
Therefore, we will all be using an 11"x14" canvas and I will supply everyone with carbon paper to trace out the composition first. Then we will go over the tracing with black markers before we begin painting.
This way, we can spend the class getting the blending of the colors and shadows right. Which is what really makes this painting. The beautiful shading of the colors to create the flowers.
